Revelstoke

During breakfast we decide to stay here for another night. Lots to see nearby. Today we visit Revelstoke National Park. First is the very short ‘Giant cedar walk’, and indeed there are some very large and impressive cedars on this decked rather short walk! Somewhat further is the ‘Skunk cabbage trail’ through a bit of wetlands, totally different to the walk before. In Revelstoke we do some shopping and enjoy a nice lunch. We spent the afternoon up the mountain at ‘Meadows in the sky’. Again some nice short walks to enjoy the magnificent views over the surrounding mountain tops.

Back at our spot at the Illecillewaet Campground we build a warm fire on this chilly night and make plans for tomorrow.
