Mount Robson
The trip continues! Today we want to end in Jasper, that’s about 300 kilometers from Clearwater. Around lunchtime we are in Valemont. It’s a sunny day so we decide to take a short walk before lunch. Our next stop, after lunch, is the visitor centre near Mount Robson. Ok… not really… we stopped a few times before the visitor centre to take pictures of the mountain. We are lucky enough to be here on a clear day so the views on the mountain are amazing. Not long after that we enter Jasper National Park and then the little town Jasper. At the train station we park the RV. We look for the visitor centre to see which campgrounds are open this late in the season. Around Jasper the Whistlers campground is still open. This is a big campground bus because it’s the only one open this time of year it’s almost full. For the first night we can only book a space with no hook-ups.
