traveling in Canada! From Vancouver, Vancouver Island, the Inside Pasage to Alaska for one day. Through the Rocky Mountains and the prairie of Alberta to Calgary.
Banff
The Tunnel Mountain Village II Campground in Banff is open all year. It is located up a hill about five kilometers outside of Banff centre. There is a busstop service located at the entrance of the campground, it has drop off points in downtown Banff, but I am not sure if it is still running this late in the season. The campground is paved with wide-open campsites. The campsites have limited trees so privacy is limited when busy. There are no open campfires permitted. All campsites have a picnic table on site. There are clean washrooms with hot and cold running water, flush toilets and a building with shower stalls. There are no laundry facilities in the campground.
