Casa de Campo
January 16, 2009
Casa de Campo a really nice resort is located in between Punta Cana and Santo Domingo. The weather was amazing it was 85 degrees (29 celsius) everyday. I played golf on the Dye Fore golf course. The course was beautiful and long. I am not much of a golfer I just like to get out there and have fun. The resort has 3 golf courses "Teeth of the dog" and a private course. Casa de Campo is so big I believe it sits on 800 acres they give all the guest their own golf cart to get around! It is a 15 minute golf cart ride to the beach. You can do everything there. Horse back riding, Donkey Polo, Shooting, Kayaking, Tennis, Sailing, you name it and you can do it. I chilled on the beach, got a massage, took a merenge lesson. I also went into town and took a tour of the caves. The Cueva de las Maravillas (Cave of Wonders). It was cool, the caves were found in the 20's but not protected until 2000.
Nice weather, nice people...it was a good time!
