The Summary
Yaxuná is a large Maya site (20°27′N, 88°40′W)is 10 miles south of Chichén Itzá. Yaxuná is older than Chichén Itzá by at least 500 years. It contains many monumental buildings. The longest known sacbé, runs 60 miles directly from Cobá and ends at the ceremonial center of Yaxuná. The North Acropolis is the largest visible platform. It has 3 pyramid structures on top that date from the Late Preclassic. The ball court is 325'south on the center line of the entire ceremonial center.
