While Francisco, Mark & me were getting ready for later, Jess & Jason took a walk at the beach. They were back and we were ready. We agreed with everyone to meet at the restaurant at 7:30pm, but it was still early. Nevermind, let's go over there, get a table and chill out there. This place was cozy. The entrance looked so nice and Caribbean, with vegetation and informal. I liked it!
The place wasn't packed, but we had to wait until they have a big table ready for us.
We were discussing about what to order, when Enrico showed up. He arrived with her wife, lovely Lilia. They were in Peru back in November, so bad I couldn't meet them. I was out of town. I was about asking him about his impressions of Peru, when he showed me his Camara bag. It was a Peruvian one, haha. Ok, no need to ask if he liked Peru, lol.
We got a platter of appetizers to share and as usual it took as a bit long to decide what to order for entree, haha.
Food was tasty and we enjoyed it. But it was a lot!!! Kary arrived and we were ready to move to the karaoke. A table was waiting for us, lol! But before start to enjoy it, Francisco & me would leave for a little while. It would be a surprise, so we didn't want to say anything to anyone, shhhh.
I was waiting for Francisco downstairs when I saw a familiar face. It was Nancy! So glad, she could join us! Well, don't go upstairs and join us! We'd need help. We drove to Francisco's place to pick up some presents he had ready for all of us: there were shot glasses!!! We washed and packed them and drove back as soon as possible.
In the meanwhile, Frank already sang. "Calilfornian girls" was a success, bummer we missed it... Francisco didn't want anyone to see the presents, so we went to the bar and gave them to the waitress. Then she came back with them full with a 3 colored drink, mmm. Better not to ask what it was, haha. We also got beads and said cheers!
Party got officially started. We sang, danced, just had a blast, haha. I had some paper with me and it was time to do the traditional drinks for our TB friends :) I know I missed a lot of names, so don't get mad at me.
We kept on having fun, but had to leave too since tomorrow we would visit the Yunque rain forest and needed to wake up early. Just about leaving, they played the song Francisco asked for. It was a duet and who would sing with him??? I know I don't have the best voice in the world, but it was fun, haha. And people liked it, at least they were singing too, lol.
We stayed for a little while longer. It was hard to leave this fun place, haha. But we had to do it. Francisco drove Jess & Jason to their hotel. I was so tired, but didn't forget to ask for a wake up call. Definitely a wake up call would be more than necessary, haha.
