1-24-09-when working with MadManMike you never know what to expect, one thing for sure good times & laughter are always nearby. Our project together was winding down when I suggested we should take a trip in the RV to reward our efforts. Key West always comes up when a trip is mentioned, nah been there, doing that as soon as lobster season rolls around. A Motorcycle trip is always a good choice; better check the weather. Looking at southeastern US weather it looks Cold with SNOW predicted for the weekend in North Carolina. Ding Ding that’s the ticket!! We decide to leave Wednesday afternoon when the project is officially signed off.
Left Walmat at 5:30 pm 1-28-09 with 55gallons of gas & more food then Byrd took to the North Pole on his second expedition, in 1934. Refrigerator full, both coolers full & the auxiliary dog sled full. We will not be hungry on this trip!!
Jump on I-75 heading north at the speed of RV! Drove straight thru to North Carolina stopping only twice for gas.
