The Summary

Chich'en Itza ("At the mouth of the well of the Itza"). This is a large site in the North Central portion of the Yucatán Peninsula, in Yucatán State. The site includes a number of architectural styles, including Puuc Maya and Toltec. There are 2 cenotes on this site that provided plentiful water year round. The main structures include the "El Castillo", Temple of the Warriors, The Observatory and the largest ball court in Mesoamerica.
