Sydney & Manly
February 21, 2009
We haven't updated in a while, so let explain what we've been doing!
We arrived at Sydney on Feb. 21st. We stayed there with Alice and Max (Siobhan's aunt and her husband). It was sooo nice having our own room, a nice and comfy bed, we knew it'd be hard to get used to the backpacker life after that!
We went almost every day to Manly beach, a very nice beach very close to the city. We didn't do much other than relax at the beach, visit a few places with the family, and gone clubbing a few nights.
I know a Danish guy who works at a bar in Manly (we met him in NZ), so we hanged out with him and his friends.
Of couse we went to visit Sydney's Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, and we went to the zoo. But it was too hot to be all over the place, it was better and safer have some water near, uhm like the beach? Haha.
Bottom line is that its been great spending time with the family (they've treated me, and i count them as family too). We will try to come back down a few days in March again
