From Fnideq,  I turn right around and catch another cab to climb again that steep mountain ridge—but this time to go all the way to Ksar Sghir—a town not too far from Tanger.
I pass some great mountain views, and Morocco’s new pride:  The large and very modern Tanger Med Port—Morocco’s attempt to make this region a commercial and transportation hub without causing further congestion to Tanger itself.

It is a very impressive sight—as are some of the high railway bridges that lead to it.

Ksar Sghir, or “Little Castle” isn’t much—basically just a couple of shops at the junction and a strip of beach homes.  There is a Little Castle, but it’s fenced of and doesn’t look like much anyways...

I don’t mind... I’ve seen some amazing sights over the last few days and I’d just assume chill out on the grassy knoll overlooking the sea and reminisce on all that I’ve discovered here in beautiful North Morocco...

Then I head on to Tanger, where I hike around the city a bit before catching an overnight bus to Casablanca...
