the house of Ingrid and Edgar
We think about visiting some friends who live in Norway. We both plan one week of in July and after a phone call to Ingrid and Edgar we are set to go! We rented a car at the airport and drove to Steinsetbygda. There we stay at Ingrid and Edgar for 3 nights. We were very lucky with the weather; this is our third time in Norway but never it was this good! For two days we hiked some beautiful trails with our friends. After this we set of to Geiranger. The last time we were here was a few years ago and it was raining. Now the views are stunning with this sunny and clear weather. Over the Sognefjelvegen (a gorgeous route) to Jostedal. On Eric’s birthday we book a gletsjer walk. A great experience, totally different to Canada two years before. The last two days we’ve booked a hotel in Sand (where I bump in to an ex-college at breakfast, which was really weird). From here we take a daytrip to the Preikestolen. A strenuous but very rewarding walk. The views up there are once in a lifetime!
