Las Vegas - Day 1
April 17, 2007
I've written another blog on Las Vegas already (which I see I didn't really write much about then - I'll go back and update it with more info, sorry) and decided this time around to only take pictures of places I hadn't written about before or seen personally. If you're interested in seeing lots of other pictures on Vegas from my other blog, just click HERE. This blog will only have pictures from my current trip to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, and a couple of other places.
If you didn't hear, the old Stardust Hotel and Casino was recently imploded to make way for another new, larger and more extravagant casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Construction is everywhere in Vegas - you can't go anywhere without seeing the effects of it. The older properties in Vegas are being torn down and developers are building yet larger and higher condominiums all along the Strip. Before long, the Strip in Vegas is going to look like another Waikiki in Honolulu, Hawaii or Los Angeles, New York or even Hong Kong.
