Woke up at 7 and was introduced to doing the morning feeds. This didn't take long so when we were done I got the job of raking the front lawn which actually wasn't that bad although I remember it being quite windy that day so I think it took longer than I thought it would chasing the bloody leaves!

We always had a tea break mid morning so it broke up the morning a bit as we always seemed to work up an appetite. Our next job was to clean the cage bars in the bird cages. It was a tough job as there was green stuff stuck to all of the bars. There was 3 of us doing it which was a good job. It was entertaining though as the birds which were big black cockatoo type birds would just come and sit on your back or your shoulder while you were trying to clean the bars and when you tried to talk to the person cleaning the next cage along, they would screach right in your ear so we ended up doing it in silence as they obviously didn't want us to talk! Finished at just before 1.

This little bugger tried to attack me!

Had a nice lunch and checked emails. Went for a swim and the pool it has to be said was a tad cold to start but it was refreshing! Ended up going for a little power nap which ended up me sleeping all the way through the evening feed - oops! Think I was still on catch up from day 1. It was a lazy evening but it was nice when we had dinner as it was classic fish and chips wrapped in paper round a fire which they made in between both houses. The wallaby kept trying to nick the food so they kept having to tell him off. He got the message in the end. Had an early night.
