The Seine's river end.
May 22, 2004
This modern city is a good example of modern post war urbanism. After WWII this city was destroyed, so wont find old buildings, but the way the city was rebuilt is impresive. Most people come here just to move a little north by the sea shore to enjoy the beach, because eventhough Le Havre has a beach, you wont look a lot of people bathing here.
It's strange how the river Seine separates two diferent worlds. On the right bank the industrial Havre, and on the left bank little fishermen town Honfleur, also a must visit of you like the Impresionist art, but yoou wont get there from Le Havre, because there isn't any ferry boat that cross the 2 or 3 km that separates this towns.
