Going to Orlando was part of our plans, but we were told to visit the Seaquarium while we were in Miami. We should go there and ejoy the shows fo the dolphins, killer whales, sea lions, seals and other creatures that live under the sea ;)

We went there quite early. So we'd have time to enjoy the shows, plus it wouldn't be so hot. At least I was thinking so, hehe. First of all we got the schedule / map of the park and decided to plan our visit according to the performances' hours of the different shows. So bad, I didn't write a journal at that time, but the pics I took help me to remember about what I watched.

First stop was the Top Deck, where there was a dolphin presentation. The dolphin was jumping and swimming following the directions of its trainer.
dolphins are amazing!
Also the audience was asked to take part of the show. This was my first show here and I loved it!

According to the schedule, the time for feeding the sea lions was coming. So we moved there in order to be witnesses.  I remembered the bigges and maybe oldest sea lion had just 1 eye... poor thing... the good part was that I was able to feed it, hehe.

Our next stop was the "Flipper Dolphin Show". I remembered having watched Flipper tv show a loooong time ago. Flipper was the star of the show, but wasn't alone. He had 2 friends joining him. Sthe show was really nice. These animals are so smart and love to play and be watched by the people. Everyone enjoyed it, not only the children.

There was still some time until the next show in the schedule, so we went to watch the tropical birds.
Ready for the Killer Whale show :)
The pink flamingos were so cute and pink! haha. Next show was "Salty's Circus Extravaganza", performed by a seal. The trainer was dressed as a circus tamer and the pool seemed to be a circus arena. Now it was time to watch the shark presentation. The sharks were small, but I didn't want to find out if they were dangerous or not ;)

We were having so much fun, that we forgot about lunch, haha, but didn't forget the main show was coming next. Finally, the show we have been waiting for was here: "Killer Whale & Dolphin Show". I was a bit dissapointed that we didn't sit closer to the pool, but at the end I was grateful for that. People down got completely wet, hahaha.

The trainer announced the whale, whose name was Lolita - how cute! She & the dolping were playing and jumping. They were waving their fins like arme, haha. It was incredible how this big and intimidating animal cold be so sweet and cute at same time, awwwwww.

Well, we were getting hungry and it was too hot. It was time to start moving and go back to the a/c of the house, where a home made lunch was waiting for us. Yummy! The rest of the day was just part of a laaazy Sunday, a bit of chillilng out and take things easy :)
