Location, Location, Location
We arrived at this hotel after driving around Florence for about 5 hours trying to find this place. It was in the middle of a piazza that we didn't even know we COULD drive into. Luckily (?) it was about 2 in the morning and we hired a taxi to get us here. Starving we left this 4th floor walk up to find food and ended up at a McDonalds at a train station. Walked by several drunks and unsavory characters and I thought "where did I take my poor daughter" The room was nasty, the overhead fan was making a weird noise, the bathroom, don't ask. First impression of Florence "NOT GOOD". But then came morning. Come to find out, this hotel was right over the open air market in Florence. A shoppers paradise. Our P.M. nightmare turned into a daytime paradise! Room still lousy, but, location, location, location
