Thats all i need. So why is it i cant fasten my backpack! I did what was recommended, i laid my stuff out, two pairs of shorts, two t-shirts etc, minimum amount of makeup and cosmetics, then i halved it, and it still won't fit, arrr! I hate packing, ive been doing it for long enough with my job but i still dont learn. "Its not a fashion parade" i hear my mum say. But i cant help panic packing that latest topshop dress (too nice to leave at home) that glitzy top (just in case) those extra 3 pairs of shoes (you can never have too many). And ill guarantee in approx one week ill be moaning my packs way too heavy and wishing i stuck to the recommendations and packed light, o well.
So im sat at home in Wigan, waiting to drive to London, short flight to madrid then onto Riooooooooooooooo! I cant say im excited to be honest, im going on an amazing journey but ive been planning this for the last 6 months and its doesnt feel like im actually going. Im sure as soon as i land in Rio and those aircraft doors open to the hot and humid heat ill get those butterflies...
