Kaboom!
These are all fireworks that my friends and I shot off in the country side area of Edmond, Oklahoma. We do this every year, and this year I took pictures with my digital camera on the Fireworks setting. I was a little hard to time the pictures out at first, but I eventually got the hang of it. The trick was that I had to press the button before the firework exploded.
That night we were out in a field of my friend's house. It was pitch black. The grass was really dry since it hadn't rained in awhile, therefore we started a few grass fires with the embers from the fireworks. Luckily, there were enough people there that when one started, someone was nearby to stomp it out.
Not only did we have our fireworks, but all the neighbors were shooting theirs off as well. These aren't your grandma's fireworks. No snakes and sparklers. These are the big daddies...what you can't get in most places. The ones you can't shoot off in city limits. It's a little risky, but worth it. You are literally right underneath them. It's a great way to spend the holiday.
