My best friend studied in Costa Rica for a while, so it wasn´t a difficult decision to visit him there. We made a trip through major parts of Costa Rica and also spent some days in Nicaragua.

Narcissism due to boredom on the train

A friend picked me up at home at 8:45pm on January, 1^st and took me to the train station! The trainride went surprisingly smoothly even though I had to switch trains twice. I arrived at Frankfurt airport around 2am on 4^th, found the counter where I had to check in after a while and settled down on the floor near to it…about three hours to kill until check in starts! What can I do? Sleeping would be nice, but since all I had was my jacket to put under my body to keep me off the cold and hard ground I roughly caught one hour of sleep there. Bored, I decided to walk around a bit and after quite a while I found some seats…not just random seats, but seats that offer the possibility to lay down…what time was it? Darn, 45 minutes till check in…no point in trying to catch more sleep!
