Wynn Hotel
January 26, 2009
Wynn was the place I stayed during my whirlwind culinary tour of Las Vegas.
The room was large with a salmon color, cheerful theme. I think the room was actually larger than my house as far as square footage goes. The bathroom had a wall-mounted tv, a jacuzzi tub, a glass shower, two sinks, and separate room for the toilet.
Turndown service in the evening left chocolates on the pillows and a matt a the bedside and left the screensaver on the tv tuned to floral fields to soft jazz and classical music. It was very nice!
The restaurants in the hotel were magnificent. They were all pristine in cleanliness and the entire hotel smelled softly of flowers.
This hotel is supposedly a little more off the radar than some of the others on the strip. High rollers are often found gambling here. My brother once played at a craps table beside Steven Spielberg. Because the place tends to be more expensive than other hotels on the strip they tend to draw in the financial elite from across the globe. I happened to stay here on my culinary tour because the chef I was with was putting on a huge trade show here and accommodations here was part of the deal :o)
