The day has come,we had to leave Australia. After a great week with the family it was time to go to our own kids. When we woke up in the early morning the area was covered in smoke and the smell of bushfire entered my nose.Because of the heat and the dry season there is a fire in a blink of an eye.My brother in law had to work so my sister in law and my nephew where going with us to the airport. After 45 minutes of driving we parked our rental on the Avis car park and went to the office. The manager on duty told me to put the keys in a container and everything will turn out fine. But when we collected the car on our arrival they charged us the double price,so i want to know what went wrong. The manager sorted out the problem and it turned out that i almost bought this car.
After a cup of coffee and tax free shopping it was time to say good by,oh i hate that moment, but this is travelling. We passed the guy who was checking the weight of the hand luggage, and i was a little bit heavy.I took my coat off the hand luggage and the weight was OK.So after that i placed my coat back on my bag and went further. At the customs office the customs officer checked our passports and he was looking to me and in my passport.I asked him if there was a problem and he said that he could not find my smile.I told him that it's hard to smile leaving Australia. After customs we had to pass the cabin luggage check and we where picked out of the line for an extra check to see if we had some explosion stuff on our body. After all was find OK we where able to go to the gate.
We where sitting on the right side of the plane and had during take off a good view over Perth.Because of the bush fire in kings park the day before,Perth was covered in smog.We saw the damaged part of the park, and it was a big part that was damaged. We followed the coastline of Australia, had a good view over Sumatra and the area around Singapore. After a bumpy landing( the captain had to pay twice the landing fee),we where back in Singapore.
