beautiful Perth
One city on our wish list is Perth. We wanted to go to Perth but not whit the car.My sister in law told us that the public transport is a very good alternative. We parked our car at Rockingham station and bought a family rider ticket to the city of Perth. We payed for a family rider 8.40 aud( approx 4 euros) for two persons return and the use of the ferry in Perth and buses. After a 25 minute ride we went underground and arrived at Perth-underground station.First we sorted out our way back and then went up to daylight.Perth underground station is situated under the shopping area( Murray street). On Forrest place we found a information office where a nice old man explained where we are and what you can do in Perth. He handed over a map and planned our walk in Perth.
What a beautiful city is Perth, the combination between old and new, the crowded streets and the quiet parks like the supreme court and queens parks,Kings park where you can chill, barbecue walk and find the look out point so you have a good look at the Perth skyline( it was sad to hear and see that two days later a part of kings park was destroyed by a bush fire).
When we entered the st Georges cathedral a lovely nun came to us and asked where we came from.We told her that we came from Holland and visit family and Australia for a week. She told us everything what we want to know about the cathedral, we where able to take pictures and walk around. Later she blessed us with a nice stay in Australia( before you know your at home in the cold she said) ,and after a donation for the cathedral we left the building.
Later that day we went back with the train to Rockingham and took the car and went home.Tired we jumped in the pool and let all the impressions came through in our mind.
