Buffoonery at the Birthday Bash

I attended Alyssa’s (alyssa_ob) birthday bash at the Shout House in Minneapolis, Minnesota’s Block E. Ten of us celebrated her big day with a bombastic night of food and frolicking fun.

Alyssa and I visited the Shout House as part of August 2008’s Minneapolis TravBuddy Meetup. I knew a return to this infamous joint guaranteed a good time for all!

For those who have not yet visited a dueling piano bar, these places feature two piano players/singers performing face-to-face at two grand pianos. They entertain by playing familiar hits and audience requests from the 1950’s to today.

The photos and captions below can’t adequately convey the evening’s events. Suffice it to say that our group and one of the piano players will never forget Alyssa. J
