“SMS Text Alerts from Storm Team 8”
Good morning Old School;
Hard Freeze and Freeze Warnings in place for all of the Old School area’s this morning. My first thought was “PLEASE DON’T LET MY ORANGES FREEZE OFF!!” It is a frosty morning with temperatures ranging from the low 20s to the north to the low to mid 30s farther south. Expect mostly sunny skies today and a bit warmer temps. Highs should reach into the low 60’s
Fridays Forecast;
Temperatures will rise from 61 early afternoon to the high for the day of 63 at 2:00pm as they drop back down to 56 later this afternoon. Skies will be sunny to mostly sunny.
As a person who has spent almost all of my adult life in warm locations I do not like cold at all. Whenever we get a short spell of Cold weather thin blooded Floridians worry about their plants outside that are not very cold tolerant. The strawberry farmers are up all night checking on their big money crop. The http://www.flstrawberryfestival.com/index.html is March 3ed to 13th 2009. I got dressed went outside camera in hand to see what the real first cold day of winter 2009 had brought.
Here are the horrific pictures of a Florid Paradise turned Frosty by an Arctic Blast!

Dress warmly, it is seriously cold this morning! This is the coldest air of the season with some of us starting out in the 20s.
Today will be cool again, but it will be less windy so it will not feel as cold as yesterday afternoon did.
Tonight Freeze Warnings are in effect for the entire region except Pinellas.
The warm-up starts Friday afternoon.
