Spent a full 2 weeks in Tenerife in a town called Puerto de la Cruz and took a Spanish language course there. The school is called Donquijote and provides lessons for all levels ( A1 till D2) I took the beginners lesson and loved it. I planned 3 weeks, but left after 2, so i could surprise Jasmyn!! It worked!! See www.donquijote.com for more information.
I left home the 3th of Januari 2009 and left by train to Dusseldorf airport. This was the last train that left. I was way too early at the airport and had to wait for a couple of hours. By time went quick and before i new i took of with Air berlin on my way to Tenerife airport North.
We had to pick up our keys from the apartement at a local hotel, because the school was closed on sundays.(wich school isn't!!) We got our keys and walked to the apartement. The appartement was nice, 3 bedrooms a ktichen, a livingroom and a balcony. It was not very moderen but ok for a couple of weeks. There was also a lady in house but she left the same day we arrived. We unpacked our bag and went for a short sleep sinds i didn't sleep at all that night.
On monday 5th of januari at 8 o clock we arrived at school and were getting ready for class. Steffen was already C1 student so he had to go to a different class than me. I'm an absolute beginner. To bad they told me there was no class available for me because there were no other beginners. The told me to come back in the afternoon at 1 and i got a private teacher. No problem. Arriving at 1 there was one more girl in my class wich was also a beginner. We had our first 4 hour lesson of Spanish, wich was lots of fun!!!
On tuesday we were of from school (allready!!).
I also rented a car for the weekend and drove down to Playa de las Americas in the south of the island. The weather is much more better there, but also more toeristic. Big resorts full with people!! There is also Siam Park wich is a big waterpark with lots of slides. It's the biggest waterpark in Europe.
