Tainan
I have never been to Taiwan before and I really didn’t know what their cities look like. But after landing in Kaohsiung I quickly realized that this country is far cleaner and developed than most other Asian cities I have visited. Every subway station has free wireless network, and you also find wireless spots all over the city. The traffic is well disciplined and the numbers of cars are smaller than other cities. Instead they have lots of scooters.
I took the train to a small city called Tainan and met my friend Weiming. He has been to Norway 3 times already, but it’s 5 years since we saw each other last time. He works in Tainan, but is originally from Kaohsiung. After a short sightseeing in the city we had some great food. Hot-pot this time.
