Kaohsiung

The next day we went by train to Kaohsiung for the weekend. The most convenient way to get around is by scooter, so we rented one (125 cc – 100 kr for 24 hrs). I sat on the back, and had a great time while Weiming used his driving skills to the full. He was impressed about how calm I was during the 2 days I had back on the scooter. There are several nice sights in the city and we went to both the beach and some more touristic places. In the evening we had a few drinks and the whole stay there was just a very nice experience. So sitting on the train to Taipei and the airport on Sunday, I decided to go back to Taiwan another time I come to Asia. There’s so much to see here and the people are really nice and friendly.
