Have you ever seriously considered the RV lifestyle. MANBAG of WOSB-TB has a few questions for you before he takes you to the Florida RV Super Show at the Fairgrounds.
What type of recreational vehicle do you want?
Class a Motor Home-12 to 40 feet, constructed on a bare specialty designed motor home chassis. Sleeps 4 to 10 more if very very friendly.
Type B Van Conversations-Built within the framework of a Van, raised roofs, galleys, sleeping, showers & toilets. Sleeps 2 to 4 people
Type B Motor Homes- Build on a Van chassis they are smaller & less expensive then Type A’s with many of the same features. Forward cab over driver & passenger area.
Toy Haulers-Trailer with living quarters in the front, storage in the rear for motorcycles, snowmobiles, ATV’s or any Toy you need to haul.
Fifth Wheel-Tow vehicle and trailer are connected like a Semi Trailer
Conventional Travel Trailers-Tow vehicle and trailer are connected by a trailer hitch & trailer ball. These include hard sided & popup campers of varying lengths.
When MANBAG takes you to the Florida RV Super Show 2009 you will see examples of the different types of RV’s. RV shows are a great place to see all the different types, styles & price ranges of RV’s. The vendors will have everything from parts you need to the head scratching “What the Hell is that”. What is important is what you want in an RV not the Jones. Your motor home size and lifestyle should be based on the needs of you, your family & frequent guest. How long will you be on the road at one time on a consistent basis? How much space do you really need? Try renting before you buy, trying 2 or 3 different types to see which fits YOUR needs.
Do your homework and see if RVing is really for You, it is not for everyone. If you class is in Florida let me know I might just meet you. HAVE Fun!!
