Rolling into Nelson

After we were dropped off we headed to Nelson. We came all this way so we thought it would be nice to chill out in Nelson and catch a movie or something. We called around everywhere and everyone was full or overpriced for our budget We finally found one, and on travelling to get there realised it was about 30mins AWAY from Nelson itself, and we paid $100 for this tiny, very 70's (if not 60's!) decorated room. It was seriously THAT bad, and they were charging us $100! Would never go back there to be honest. Nathan was in talking to the owner for about 15 mins, Nathan said he was a pretty lonely guy. Felt a bit sorry for him after that.
We headed into town to grab a movie. I actually can't remember what we saw so it couldn't be that good! HEAPS of people there, it was a bit ridiculous actually.

Thought that it was way over-priced for what you got. The room we stayed in was very 70's (if not later than that) and the bedspread had something crusty on it.. so overall I didn't think it was that clean, but manageable. We paid $100 for a very small room with a very small bathroom. Was very basic I thought, and I would never stay again. It's also about 30mins out from Nelson, it does have a nice golf course though.
