Since I arrived in the US, i'm saying : "I need to go to SF and see the Golden Gate Bridge before leaving". And it was one week before : i saw the Golden Gate and the city of San Francisco !
So I arrived in SF by the end of April 4th. I took the BART until Powell Street and walk through Union Square until my hostel (USA Hostels) on Post Street. The place is very central, i'm just 3 blocks from Union Square.
Well, on the morning of April 5th, i went to the Golden Gate! I was still in the bus when i saw the first time a part of the bridge. It's so special to finaly see a world famous thing likt this!
I spent about 1 hour here, taking pics, walking on the bridge, enjoying the view. Then I came back to downtown walking along the sea.
I passed through Russian Hill, saw the famous part of Lombard Street, "the crookedest street in world", between Hyde and Leavenworth Streets. To be able to see this, I walked uphill on Hyde Street (believe, this is sport!), it was an opportunity to get a great view on Alcatraz Island. Then I continued to Chinatown by Grant Avenue and finally came back on Union Square, close my hostel.
