Our "Anzac Day" walk
Karangahake Gorge – This path is your guide through a part of New Zealand’s wildest nature. I absolutely enjoyed a day trip to the gorge and a quite varied walk along the jungle paths, over a few swing bridges and through some pretty dark and narrow caves.
It’s not difficult to leave the modern and well-structured daily life behind because the world around Karangahake Gorge is completely untouched and just impressive. I was really able to feel the tense of a jungle adventure.
The walk was good fun because after every corner and every long tunnel the view was different and at least as good as the last one!
After our group had walked along the gorge we ate a tasty lunch in a neat vinery nearby the path. By the way the cake over there was totally irresistible!
