My Hometown
Rheden, Where is it?
The most people have never heard of the place Rheden. It’s a little village near Arnhem. There are 12 provinces in the Netherlands. And I live in Gelderland. It’s at the east side of the Netherlands. A nice place to live, but I prefer Amsterdam or Utrecht.
There is not really a reason to visit Rheden. What do we have?
© One shopping street. There are just some supermarkets, shops for clothes, kind of a drugstore and some other shops.
It’s good enough to get all your stuff you need. For a day of good shopping you have to go to Arnhem.
© 2 churches.
© 3 primary schools. We do have a school for Catholic people, Christian and non-believers. I have been to the Christian but they don’t care if you are a believer or non-believer.
© A gym
© An outside swimming pool. You only can use it while its summer and normally it’s cold over here.
© We have some sport association; soccer, korfball, fitness, table tennis, tennis and much more.
© Some pubs. At the Friday night or Saturday night we do have the possibility to go to the local pub.
© A very beautiful forest. It’s called: The Veluwe. Which is a great part of Gelderland. Will show some pictures with me and some friends.
