3. Qin Shi Huang Masoleum

This trip was nothing fantastic other than viewing the imaginary model of how the unearthed masoleum of feudal Emperor Qin Shih Huang would be. Despite how nefarious he was during his relm, commenable achievements done by him in his aim to unite China then were plentiful too such as setting the imperial court laws, currency standards and the cartwheel diameter leading to current road width!

Imagine Terracotta warriors were just a portion of his masoleum and how they have dazzled the world. Would one day his masoleum be fully unearthed and explored, it may be another wonders of the world.  Dont forget great wall of China construction was ordered by him too! Awaiting.
Relics of Sakyamuni

4.  Museum of Terracotta Warriors And Horses of Qin Shihuang, Bing Ma Yong( 秦始皇兵马')

Unreputably, it's a UNESCO site. Just a miniscule portion of Emperor Qin masoleum and it's already so majestic and deadly intriguing. Each teracotta warrior is unique, with unique fingerprints and palmprints too! Many sites were left unearthed due to many deadly traps laid in the past to prevent tomb plundering, and also the sudden oxidation & fading of the colored warriors, which are still in research on how to preserve their treasures!

5. Mount Lishan & Cable Car To Top

It is no doubt that Mount Lishan has a marvelous track of historal events revolving around it. From Qin tomb, even playing a pivotal role in China Revolution. History has it where Kuomingtang (KMT) head Jiang Jieshi was arrested by Zhang Xieliang and Yang Hucheng, too in Mount Lishan.

There were interesting recounts by many tour guides on how fast Jiang Jieshi had escaped then from his residence ( Huaqing pool area too) and flee up to the mountains. Unfortuanately, now tourists visit the site where he was captured. =)

By then the tour ended around 6:30pm when we reached the city centre.

Yang Guifei Pond
Ok, I have to admit I was abit lazy to plan for my day tour as I thought there were too competitive packages available to get started off. I may have saved on the transportation cost if I have taken the local tourist bus line, but I guess there was not much regrets either.

I took up the local tour package at 259rmb with no other additional charges from the Inn, which mean all admission charges, tour guide fee, transportation all in. There were alot of packages that were priced below 200rmb but further scrutiny you discover they dont include admission ticket charges!

I was given a personalised morning call service at 7am i requested the night before. The friendly staff came walking in the dormitory trying to identify which bed I was in hah. Now this is what dormitory morning call service is about. Interesting.

Xi'an East Tour Route Includes 5 Main Attractions
1.
Simulated builtup of Qin Masoleum
  Lintong Museum

Situated in the eastern corner of the world-famous Huaqing Pool, it has three exhibition rooms  displaying about 10,000 cultural relics of various kinds, spanning more than 7,000 years. Most prominently, this place is famous due to the collection of Buddhism treasures. Esp relics of Sakyamuni and, golden, silver coffins (viewed as Buddha coffin) unearthed from Shangfeng Pagoda,Qingfeng Temple, which flourished during the Tang Dynasty. They are classified & protected under state's relics of special grade..

2.  Huaqing Pool / Palace

One of the most famed royal gardens in China's history. It's reputed for the love nest of Tang Xuan Zong and Yang Gui Feng.  What was more intriguing were the 'bath rooms' distinguished by the Emperor, the concubine and the high-ranked officials.
Imagine all the warriors are all unique!
Spa therapy has its history since ancient times!

The hot spring water flow starts fresh from the Emperor's and to the concubine followed by the officials. Thus officials back then were bathing in Emperor's used water! And the Emperor do really know how to pamper himself by indulging in in-door waves splashing on him while staring out the starry nights. Woow.

And this place is also made famous by Tang Dynasty poet Tang Juyi - The Song of Eternal Sorrows (白居" 《长恨歌》)

Borrowed Quote: 春'赐浴华清池, 温泉水'洗凝脂侍儿扶起娇无力, 始是新承恩泽时。”

Translated as :
On a cold spring day, Emperor bestowed upon Yang Guifei the honor bathing with him at the Huaqing Pond.
Smooth hot spring water washed over her pure white skin
Palace maids helped her leave the pool as she was delicate and without strength
And marks the start of receiving advances from the Emperor..
