The last day of belleza Madrileńa
January 3, 2009
From El Escorial we came back to Madrid. This will be our last day here, in this awesome city. We were alreay so hungry that we went again to our favourite chinese resto where we ate yesterday (Near plaza Espańa). And again we had lots of good food:) and we saw again that nice waitress and we listened again to the modern chinese music:)
We visited - as our next stop - the Parque de la Montańa with the Templo de Debod, or actually we wanted enter this weird place (the temple) but the 'guardians' kicked us out saying 'esta cerrado'. They are really ugoks! There was nothing to see actually just a weird place with two opr three small buildings which were rapresenting ... well nobody knows what;) hahaha. Anyways the park itself was a nice place, because it was getting dark so they started turning lights on and the park was on a hill giving you a very nice view over the western boroughs of Madrid and also a nice view from behind over the Cathedral and Palacio Real.
We went down to the Palace and visited the small park nearby called Jardines de Sabatini. It looked like a small royal park and at that time it was even better with the lights turned on.
Then we were walking through the evening streets of old town Madrid and searching for some electronic devices in order to get out the pictures from RJ's camera. But unfortunately the unitedstatian cam isnt that popular in Europe so we didnt find the right stuff. RJ, it's time to get a new cam with european standards! ;)
So that's pretty all for this last day, i guess...
