Trying not to kill RJ during those 2 weeks traveling through Poland - Germany - Holland - France - Spain and meeting TBs. Pretending to have fun in the winter time and to not care about the fact that you can see ur own breath;)

Viva Espańa!!!

Plane from Paris to Madrid
Whooohooo!
We finally arrived to the most beautiful places in Europe... well ... one of them! >>>> MADRID!!!
Coz the flight was in the evening we were in Madrid at about 21.00 - but coz our hostel was in the middle of the middle of the city we could just drop the luggage and go sightseeing... or at least go searching for some food (Remember? In Paris CDG-airport they dont have food places for passangers).
Btw. As we got into the hostel - they said that they gave away our places in the room we booked (it was like shareroom with other 6 persons) but they would give us a double room instead for the same price - Whooohooo! Seee, they are much better;) ahhaah. This hostel (Metropol) is much much better than the french one, and twice as cheaper!
so we walked in the Old Town, Gran Via, Calle de Alcala, Sol, Montera until pl. Espańa admiring the nice buildings and street life until we found this nice kebab place - with nice waiters and good food. This was so awesome!

Backpackers' place
The best location ever. The hostel is really only 20m from the metro station in the middle of the city centre. Elevator. Breakfast, linnen, towel inclusive in price. Free maps, free internet. Living room with tv and soccer, dart, u can hung around or surf in internet whenever you want (internet untill 22.00) Very nice stuff. When we arrived they gave us the double room in the same price, because they had some group wanting stay together in our 6-pers. shared room. So we were happy. We could pay at the arriving day or when we were leaving, they don't bother you with "only cash and right now" - credit card is no problem. Very nice place.

Important in winter: they have heating, so no worrie if it's a bit colder outside:)

Best Kebab in Madrid
We ate at this kebap place the best kebap ever. This place isn't expensive but the food is really very good one. The waiter was kind and nice and took care of us as if we were kings (at least;).
It was tasty kebap (we ate two different types, so it must be a rule there, not just a luck;). It was clean and nice inside.
if u like meat and vegy this is a place for you. (they give you of course this special type of bread, but we all know, that meat is most important in question 'kebap' :)))
