from this cool market hall we went back to the cathedral and climbed the tower (called little Miguel= Miguelete) and because the weather was so awesome we got beautiful view all over the city. We saw from above over the roofs far, far away untill some mountains behind the city limits.
Then we came back to the ground-level ;) and went over Turia park (the ancient river Turia) to Jardines del Real which was sort of royal gardens. There were this huge cage with birds... but there were not only the weird - tropical birds but the usual little and brey-brown sparrows which we have in Poland billions and billions of! but nobody keeps them in cages hahaha.
From the Jardines we took metro and rode to the other side of town to see the Zoo and biopark... end of happy stories here:(((
We found the park and we climbed a small hill there - it was like w view-point over the borrough and the zoo, then we wanted to go back to se ethe small lake and i jumped over the fence - RJ said, this is illegal, meybe we go on path, but i was already almost down - it was like only one l;ast step.
And that was the end of my pics... i tryed to get out the mud but it was to late for any rescue. This wa sthe sadest part... Fortunatelly i was not that dirty, only a bit so i washed out the mud and we got back to town.
In the evening we were eating pizza, which wasnt that good and pretty expensive so we didnt visit that place any more;)
Meanwhile RJ was on hunt for some souvenirs - but he bought a new hat insted for himself hahaha (actually i found it for him - he hasnt good taste;) - kidding kLumpel!)
In the old town we sa many people puting chairs on the sidewalks along the streets. It looks so weird, the regular chairs along the public road! I asked some locals what's this all about? they told me it's the 3-kings-parade and it will take like few hours, so people who wants to see it good starts occupying chairs few hours before it starts - every year.
It took hours and we didnt want to stay there that long. we got to the metro and went to see the other ancient city gate - torres de Quart, which we havent seen so far.
Then we walked back and visited the park created in the ancient river - we walked pretty far until we saw the Palau de Musica. And again - there were joggers everywhere - dozens of people running here and there. It looks like valencians are pretty sporty - and healthy:)
That's pretty much for that day.
Thenlast stop was food-place again and u dont bother to guess where we ate... it's obvious it must have been chinese! And it was good again! Chinese rulezzzzz! (i maybe should open a chinese restaurant? ahhaahha - it wont be good idea coz i would eat all the food there, nothing would be left for the guests;)))
Sleep good, guys;)
