I think those were the guys from our booked room, but because they were so many they got our places and we got the double room with own bathroom. But guys, you could SHUT THE F*** UP a little bit - the more it was like 3 at night! ;)
Then - in the morning we ate breakfast at the hostel and left for sightseeing. We went first to Opera, Royal Palace and Cathedral. Then - and this was a place where i was last time as well - we were in this park on the other side of the bridge (behind the cathedral) but this time, to make the trip more interesting we went farther and reached the other church (San Francisco El Grande). Next stop was the old gate (Puerta de Toledo)
Then we took the metro and arrived in Plaza de Torros, where they have the Corrida (actually i'd love to see that, but i never have that luck to be on right time in right place).
We found some chinese restaurant near Plaza Espańa - and we liked it. We got good food and there was this nice modern chinese music :) ... and this young waitress ahhahaha ;)
Full and happy we saw the Plaza Mayor when walking and searching for some souvenirs. RJ couldn't decide if he should buy some spanish bully statue for his mom or maybe some other stuff... so he dint buy anything. LOL
Then we went to this huge park Retiro near Atocha station, and on our way we found totally unexpected Panteon with some spanish great guys graves. In the Retiro park we saw the pretty Palacio de Cristal where we were resting and then the Palacio Velazquez.
From too much walking we got tired soe we rode metro until Plaza de Castilla with those two weird towers creating an almost gate.
I was getting dark so we came to fuente de Cibeles at the Palacio de Comunicaciones. This was that nice Paseo de Recoletos with pretty interesting Christmas-lightening over the street.
In the evening we had an appointment wit another TBer - Neil, a filipino living in Madrid. We had dinner together and coz we were in Spain, we wanted eat paella. Was it ur first paella RJ?
Anyways, we ate at the place with some jerk-waiter, i regret now i didnt take the picture of this place in order to avoid it next time and say u guys - keep away from it hahaha. Then we had a night walk and said good bye to Neil.
We went back to our nice hostel, checked the internet and that's it... I WISH!!! But no way, the day didnt finish still, coz this night the stupid group was loud again.
