We should have some food at that time i guess, but i was infected by RJ with his desease - "forgetting everything" - ahhaha. so i dunno what and where we ate, if we did at all! ;)
This was not all what Gaudi made in Barcelona - another most popular work of his is Parc Guell. If u don't want to climb too much u have to go to metro station Vallcarca - L3 and use the escalators to go up the hill where the park is situated. From this side, when u enter the Parc - u shouldn't turn right to go down to the main place but left and climb a bit the hill - there u will have much more nice view over the city.
as we started the day with some nature and visited already two big parks in the city we decided to see another one... probably the best and hugest one - Montjuic. We went there using the funicular and then walking - trhe bus escaped so - nevermind. It's only like 15 minutes walk up the mountain so we didnt mind. Then we saw again the beautiful view over the city on the left and over the sea with port and airport on the right.
At this point we turned our almost-bepression into joy and went back to the town - visiting fira (exhibition centre) with Palau Nacional. Unfortunately the huge fountain at Pl. Espańa wasn't working - but it's ok, since we all know RJ was in town - so it was better to turn off everything there;) It was getting darker and darker so i thought, RJ should see the Torre Agbar again - but this time at night and.
Wag kang mag-alala, tingnan ko yun susunod!
I think at that time we went back to the hostel... but i have no idea what for? hhahaha but it was late so we started food-hunt. And we were successful - we found a very nice italian restaurant near Santa Maria del Mar - the pizza and lasagna were excellent! I took beer as always but RJ - like an animal! - just water! Poor kLumpel! He drinks just coke or water - hahaha;)))
Since we were so close to Santa Maria del Mar we visited it after dinner - this is the cathedral of the poor people - you might have read this book about construction works of this beautiful church.
so that's all for this day, we bought some food for breakfast and went back to the hostel.
