When I was in grade 7 I did an exchange to Japan for 2 weeks. In the years after I kept in touch with the girl who's house I stayed at and in March of 2006 she came to stay at my house for 10 days. After that I decided I wanted to go back to Japan. Tomoko thought it was a good idea to so I made the plans and went there by myself in August for 20 days. It was amazing, Japan is a beautiful country and I can't wait to go back. This blog is finally finished!!Yay I'm happy now.

Miyajima

This was a very busy day. We woke up and Tomoko's dad drove us for about an hour to Miyajima. When we got there we took the ferry to the city. We walked around Miyajima for a while. Fed some deer, took some pictures. It was here that I bought a ton of souvenirs. They had so many places to buy awesome things. We went in this one store where I bought quite a few souvenirs and the man working there was so nice, he gave me 10% off everything I bought! It was awesome. We were going to take the tram up to the top of this hill/mountain thing but it was too expensive. Then we took the ferry back across, where we had lunch. We had okonomiaki. It was really cool, you order it and they cook it on your table for you. It tasted alright, it was really huge. After that we drove to Hiroshima.
