Sure enough- we’d arrived at the Swiss border and bought our 30E vinette (windshield sticker required for driving the Swiss roads) before we knew it. We’d meant to go to the
Ah, well! It all worked out. We made it to a lovely resort campground along a gorgeous lake, surrounded by wooded, softly-rolling mountains. It is a 5* place and only 31.34E a night (45.75 Swiss Francs).

A mall-like grocery store complex is closeby and we walked there for groceries. It was not more expensive than
We did enjoy getting Swiss cheese, Swiss chocolate, Heidi milk and yogurt, cheese fondue, and other essentials. Then we hauled our stash back to the campground and the kids went to play on the zipline and in the swimming pool.
We got the spot right on the corner of the lake! I paid 5 SF extra, but skipped electric for the same price, so we’ve got a million dollar view of the sun, lake and mountains. Gorgeous!
This campground, La Piodella, is a “Camping TCS” campground and is extremely nice with a restaurant, bar, boat dock, etc. There was a very cool miniature backhoe digging holes here and we thought that neighbor Justus or my Dad need one of those! I’ll try to upload a picture.

Jazy just made me laugh- she said that in honor of "Big Brother" the posture guru, she was going to walk through restaurants pointing to people and saying, "Chew with your mouth closed!" Ha!
