Starting to feel like home...

A crazy wild adventure to known and unknown places. Two young lovers with nothing better to do than travel a vast continent.

Starting to feel like home...

We went back to Quito to take care of some business (get another passport, get our entry stamps again, etc.) before leaving to the south. As mentioned before the new city is very gringo, so it feels a bit like home, and definitly straddles the line of being too close to home. Drunk gringos get on your nerves a bit (I saw you today at...!), and at the same time is nice and homely. So we relaxed, walked around parks, went to museums, did some drinking (5 beers and nachos for $7? I'm there!), and generally just enjoyed the time left at our longest stop. By the way, if you want some good salami and cheese go to a place called Cafe Español, best we had in months.

Bye Quito, you´ve been good to us but its time to move on.
