A crazy wild adventure to known and unknown places. Two young lovers with nothing better to do than travel a vast continent.

Little Slice of Paradise

Our bus ride from Fortaleza to Canoa Quebrada took twice as long as it was supposed to and since we weren´t feeling well to begin with, by the time we made it there we were quite cranky. Luckily a really nice woman was waiting there as we got off the bus to show us pictures of her pousada (like a bed and breakfast) and offered us a nice price. "We´ll take it!" we said, but without the excitement.

Canoa Quebrada is a very beautiful although a little bit too touristy of a beach town. There are huge sand dunes flanking the beach and there is a "Broadway" (apparently used in many Brazilian cities to describe the main street) where everybody gathers to eat and drink. So we walked around a bit, ate, and then after taking in the nice scenery we went to sleep to recharge. Breakfast was great and after gathering our things we were off in the oldest combi known to man to the bus station and subsequently to Natal. A nice little town, but we are on a schedule here...
