Finally - The Beach

After an overnight bus from Huaraz to Trujillo, we immediately escaped the bustling city of Trujillo for a more quiet laid back beachy surfy town for rest and relaxation. We stayed in a place that could have been awesome but it was run by a business man and business was the bottom line. For instance, we were asked to move out to a different apartment since the people coming in apparently were going to pay more and stay longer. The new apartment was in the back part of the bungalows where our curtains were semi-transparent and an aerobics class was being recorded 30 feet from our door. Always wondered where and how they recorded those videos and now we know first hand!! We did have cable TV for the first time, the weather was not great and we were still recovering from our illnesses so we pretty much watched 48 hours of (bad) TV. The waves were not very good for learning to surf and we quickly got bored of watching TV so we bounced out of this beach town in search for a better beach town.
