Valkenburg
I went everyday to Valkenburg, to train (I was a good cycle racer) I always trained in the mountains of Valkenburg, such as the Cauberg. So Valkenburg was my first and worst love, because the mountains are very heavy! Except for the training aspect I went a few times to Valkenburg to visit some friends. In the centre of Valkenburg are a lot of bars, cafés, snacks bars, restaurants etc. All of them are really nice in one way or another. Next to my cycling training and paying a visit to my friends, I go to Valkenburg to see a lot of nature. It’s really stunning.. Rivers, forests etc are right in or next to Valkenburg. There are a lot of routes if you wanna take a long walk through the forests. Also the catacombs, marl caves and pitcoal mines are very beautiful with a lot of history! So if I need some words to express Valkenburg, it would be: great nature, lovely touristplace, history, catacombs, and relax!
