Start up and some tips for my trip
well bookings are getting better and better we now have our travel insurance (www.1cover.com.au) as it offered the best deal on cost over 12 month
We did not know if we would have troubles getting in to SA on a one way ticket so we booked a round the world trip from Melb to LA / NY to Vienna/ vienna to delhi and then out of channai back to melbourne. the 2nd leg into asia we have to book on the way closer tot he dates before we get back form the first 12 month.
So some site trips might be shorter due to the time restriction we have to chatch up with conecting flights back to melbourne (sadly)
car booking to go form LA to Vegas with: www.holidayautos.co.uk all though we had looked at different web pages at that time with exchange rate it was by far the best deal!
flights form LA to Chile was a no brainer with Copa Air I knew this airline from when I was in Guatemala and found it to be good and cheap
as for getting to easter Islands.
www.visitchile.com (mariangel) who was extreamly helpfull and helped me to save about 1000AS$ on the round trip!
In santiago we found with www.hostelworld.com the Eco Hotel all though not the cheapest but it looks good as well close to a guy i know down there.
In Easter island we are going to make it to an festival, we did actually not plan for this, but we just happen to be there at the time so it will be interesting to see how this works out
we wil stay @ Ana Rapu I found it directly online on a websearch of hostels and hotels in easter island I'll report later
