Quebec and our way to Halifax
At first when we got in to Quebec, I felt it a bit intimidating as everything is / was in French..
It’s been a long time that I had spoken French and of course forgot pretty all in the mean time, I still could pick up the vocational word but by far not enough to make sense of it or even endeavor to answer in French.
I mixed it up with Spanish, so a no go.
However Quebec does not feel at all as a big city!
Tree lined streets lower building and of course the old town with the Castle like hotel overlooking the bay.
It has a charming feel to it and people are so friendly, we had been greeted on the street by people in the morning,
People stopped to ask if we were lost (which we weren’t), There is plenty of history in this town and food, this is a total different thing even compared to Toronto.
Much more French cuisine offered here.
Pastry’s in shops. Bread, looking and tasking by far better than in USA or in Toronto. Overall a great experience and by far better than Toronto which is just a big city.
Furthermore as I previously shared my thoughts on the “wow” Factor, I must admit it did get back to me.
The train ride through Canada’s landscape is relaxing and just beautiful. I certainly would recommend anyone to visit Nova Scotia.
