Cottage life is not too complicated, got the boat going and did a quick lap of the lake looking at cottages.  Much of the rest of the day was spent either sitting on the dock reading a book or doing quick trips to the Mariner for lunch/ice creams. I think every time we went somewhere Jewel’s song Intuitive was on the radio.. So relaxation had kicked in, but if we were going to make it to The Cherrypickers concert in Toronto we had to leave at about 4:30, even then hectic times were ahead.  Got to Mel’s and had 10 minutes to showere and pack up all of my gear, then forced to do a 10 minute drop-in at Kristin’s family BBQ in Inglewood (Met Uncle Ronnie and his fart machine…..classy!)  Then jumped in the car with Mel & Pat and it was off to Rancho Relaxo (really it was called that, not just a Simpson’s reference) in Toronto.  Great little venue and the Cherrypickers band (all the way from Wollongong) were great, as was the Upper Canada beer.  Met Leanne, Christina, Sandy friends of Dave Gozolla from the gong.  Grabbed a sausage from a ‘street meat’ vendor on the way home.  Mel bought a chilli one for Patto which didn’t go down too well.  Crashed at Pat’s place that night, really friendly family, they run a balloon business out of the home so a few boxes around.  Just as you walk in there’s a cage of Chinchilla’s on the doorstep, nice touch :)
