From Niagara to Kristins

Woke and first point of order was cash some traveller’s cheques since ATM hunting was pointless. Did the touristy thing and crammed in ‘Maid of the Mist’, ‘Journey behind the Falls’ and an IMAX movie before about 3 pm Then it was bus station time, waited around for the 4:20 bus with a kid dying for a red candy ball and a Puerto Rican Tae Kwando team who was picking up some Japanese tourists. Now either the bus wasn’t announced or it was announced while I was on the the phone, (though I heard no mention of bus 5) so I ended up making some frantic phone calls and changing from a bus to Hamilton (for the hockey, no-one was going to make it from Mel’s crew) to Dixie Mall, Missasauga.
So an hour and a half later (at least they have headphone slots on the bus) I rocked up to Dixie Mall which was surrounded by car parks, and didn’t have a clue where to meet Mel. Helped out by really friendly customer service girl and security guard, and after a few laps tracked Mel down. Home, the Kristin’s to meet the family, got served dinner on a TV tray (of note, eating a Tim-Tam was also a photo moment) and watched Game 7 of the Stanley Cup (New Jersey won it) Interesting day!
