When we arrived in Goa we met a guy who lived on Palolem beach at the train station, this was a bonus so we managed to share a taxi with him to the beach.

At the beach we got some accomodation for one night, then searched around for somewhere slightly better for abit longer term, as we decided to base ourselves here for the next 6 weeks and then explore from there. So after a couple of days in one place we moved to somewhere alot nicer with a balcony and cable tv, i was happy because i could watch the football and the F1.

Over the next few days we sized up where the cheap and good restaraunts where, so we knew where we would frequent over the next few weeks. We ended up going to about 5 places on and off for the whole time.

We were so lazy with the time we were there, we spent every day on the same spot on the beach, determined to get a good tan for going home with.

There is no way we could of gone home after 11months in Asia without a good one. The only things remotely different we did was rent scooters and explore goa, and we went fishing one day, which was quite sad. Everytime someone caught a moray eel it managed to strangle itself on the line we used to catch them. What a shame.

We also kind of adopted a dog while there that we named Betty, she followed us pretty much everywhere and when it came to leave it was pretty heartbreaking if im honest, she was sat outside the bus just looking at us. I wish we could of taken her with us.

I only have one bad thing to say about Goa, and thats about the groups of dirty bastard Indian men, that prowl the beaches harassing and perving on western women, i got pretty riled up a few times with them. Its funny watching them backtrack and apologising after being caught out. Other than that Goa was one of my favourite places in the world!
