We are all just at our hotel but are going to the water puppet theatre at 4pm. Then out to dinner. Kaitlynn and I share a room.. #130. The window is exactly how I imagined!! big with shutters and it looks out into the street. I can hear motor bikes going by and honking.
This hotel is the best. I just made tea.
We went to the water puppet theatre and everyone was so tired from our flight. We left at 11pm and it was like night time for the whole flight because everytime we pulled up the blinds it was still dark out. It was very long and no one got that much sleep. I had caffeine pills with them that I took because I require caffeine to live so I was the most awake of anyone I think.
We went out for dinner and we all sat at a long table. There are 21 of us on this trip.
One girl on our trip had to stay back at the airport all day but somehow they managed to find us for dinner. They had to stay back because there was a mistake with the dates on her visa. We all thought she would get sent home. It was so stressful for her but luckily it somehow got worked out.
On our way into Vietnam we got on this tour bus and our guides introduced themselves. We didn't know what to expect. As the bus brought us into Hanoi from the airport we all just looked out the window, taking pictures of this new land while our tour guide told us stories and the history of the places.
We arrived at our hotel and we were assigned rooms. There are two people to every room. We are not all on the same floor but a lot of us are. It is very fun to travel with so many people who all know eachother!
